We believe that a little help goes a long way

Windows Booksellers runs a lean and mean operation. We operate with only a few paid employees, so that means, between the two of us, we are can be worn pretty thin. Luckily, over the years we have had the pleasure of having volunteers help run the shop when other work (such as going across country to buy a library) gets in the way, or when life simply happens (kids at home can be difficult to manage). Those volunteers are the backbone of Windows. Without their help, there are times that this little bookstore couldn’t run. What we can’t offer in payment for working a few hours here-and-there throughout the month(s), we can, perhaps, offer something better: discounts off our store inventory, not to mention a discount on any new books you may want to order in! Oh—did I mention the occasional free burrito from Rose City Taqueria?

If interested in volunteering with us, shoot Jared an email, and he can chat with you about logistics, and how to get you started on the lucrative career as a volunteer bookseller.
